The theme of the "sharing economy” gets increasingly interesting in our everyday life. Nowadays you’re considered as modern and well-esteemed by supporting alternative economy, trying to share as much as possible and showing this outwardly

Prologue From the economical point, a sharing consumption allows enormous cost, time and resource savings, so long it’s coordinated and organized through respective platforms and devices. But what if we try to develop this system in a much more extreme way, to turn our usual way of life inside out and to begin the idea of sharing with getting away from personal possessions? In a world in which everything is shared and no one has his own property, the currency as such wouldn’t be required anymore. If one gets everything from an existing portfolio and just a minimum of products has to be new-produced, there aren’t investment costs any longer, the transport costs get reduced and the whole system would be self-sustaining. Sounds utopian for a moment, but could work well when it’s well-organized and economically structured.

Sharing on an immaterial level. In this new world our body builds the interface between the storage of personal data and their transfer, wherever you want. If thoughts, feelings, experiences, or even knowledge gets divisible directly, without any loss of time and without the need of recording them externally, connectivity and sharing could take place on a whole new level. Especially the working system could be revolutionized by such possibilities and be raised to a new level because you don’t have to collect professional experience over a long period of time to be particularly efficient and successful. Assuming that knowledge and experience get transferable, theoretically everyone could practice any profession. When you get up in the morning, you get all information you need for the day and also in what profession you could work mostly effective and pleasant this day. Through different options a degree of individuality is maintained, coupled to high working efficiency. The required know-how for the daily field of profession is transferred via “update” while checking-in at the workplace and gets deleted at the check-out in order to avoid overloading.

The own body as interface

Smart transportation systems

Automated transportation system. The transportation system in this world could be envisioned as an intelligent, autonomous gondola system that has the same range as your own car. So it has to be easily accessible and convenient. Without waiting you hop easily on the next transport module. These modules are frequented higher or lower depending on current requirements. For longer distances, the modules are collecting themselves on a special point, where they are fed into a larger system to cover very long distances in a minimum of time.

shared ressources & individuality

Building individuality in a world without property. The main question arising in such a decapitalised world, is the question of individuality. Above all, the specially designed housing characterizes the well-being and identification with certain social values. Assuming that everyone can use any living space, it’s important to have standard residential modules, which are equipped with everyday objects. While entering, the flat gets personalized due to everyone’s personal data. As a result you are no longer bound on fixed locations but can rather feel anywhere like home. By leaving the apartment again, it gets reset to the initial state and remains available as a free module for the next.
Each apartment has a generator that provides products which are not used every day. By choosing the product you can personalize it according to your wishes. After using the device, it gets directly broken down into its basic components which are fed back into the system. This saves resources and the transportation or the delivery of goods would generally no longer be necessary. The principle of "sharing" can be found here in the common use of a system, which provides recyclable substance to have a temporary access to special equipment. By breaking down the genetic code of a food, it’s theoretically possible to reproduce it synthetically without loss of flavour and without growing it directly.
